Why is this show so unserious?😭

Why is this show so unserious?😭

'Dilwali apna dulha le jaegi' wo bhi ghodi par chadh kar😭😭 (i love it) I have been against the dulha swap theme since the day the leap started because I wanted heer to choose nawab, for once heer deciding what she wants and not anybody deciding it for her (not even nawab) and i so wanted her to run away from the wedding (eloping from wedding is like at the top of my 'most thrilling things to do' list lol), and i will be seated if she actually does lol, but I don't have it in me to trust them again 💔

Episodes nowadays:

Whenever y'all get too happy after an episode, i genuinely worry for the heartbreak that is going to follow because apparently that's the only consistency they know how to maintain, but then there's also that teeny tiny hope that may e everything is still fixable? (Which ik cannot happen now ofcourse, things are messed beyond that point, but hey a fan can hope!)

One breath house (Pt 1)

I wrote it a couple of weeks ago but ever since the episodes have been so bad that i didn't even feel like posting it.

But here it is anyways, it had gotten long enough to exceed reddit's image limits, so had to divide it into two parts, will update shortly.

Do share your thoughts and I hope you enjoy reading it <3

Trigger warning ⚠️ More motivation to NOT watch

Broaden your mind, they are just friends who also happen to be jija saali 😍

I can't hate this plot enough lmao. And the post I made today...oh I cannot agree more with myself lol! Nothing can bring back nawab's character from whatever depths (of love for his saali) it has reached.

They say they will fix things by the time ipl ends/by 2nd June but tell me honestly, is it even worth it? She is eying her brother in law's lips ffs! Idk how to move on from this!! There is no going back!!

Kudos to everyone who is still keeping hopes! You guys truly deserve an award atp🏆

Where's his sunshine to her grumpy? 🫠

This might be controversial and ik i might get downvoted, but I really don't understand nawab's character graph anymore. And I have been irked before, by nawab as well as heer and her mahanta (so much so that at some point I wanted to shake her up to get her brains to start functioning again which didn't happen so I stopped watching) but now I just feel bad for heer. The parallels yesterday— of her crying when he was happily enjoying in rain with simran, basically cut the (thin) thread of hope I had from him (and the show).

This entire situation is just super unfair to the girls around him— both heer and simran (though I don't like simran but we cannot ignore facts here). People have defended him and ig i too have tried to understand him, but I don't think I have it in me to do so anymore. He is acting like a manchild and there is no alternative truth to it! Yes this is different from what he was doing with tina (as that has been a point of argument recently), but that too only from his perspective, he was fake then but he really is trying now, but from the girls' perspective, isn't it the same? He gives girls' hopes and then expects them to "understand" as he moves on in life with his forever love (idk if we can even call heer that anymore). Yes their "love" seems unreal because they don't know each other's names, but it is what it is now and i honestly cannot blame simran anymore because he is choosing to do this!

And no this cannot be compared to heer 'moving on' with arjun because she never really did that, did she? Arjun being a 5-star a-hole manipulated the situation even after she stated the obvious clearly in front of him, but nawab here is really trying to move things forward with simran. There is nothing wrong with moving on, but the time span? (For reference, we have had characters like Conrad who waited for yearsss and didn't even date in between, not really) Nawab couldn't wait for a month? What was even the point of the first episode post leap then (and dialogues like N ke aage O likhwa lo)? Yes heer forced their first date onto them (urghh heer!!!) but does he not have a brain of his own? Whatever people/women around him say, he will do? Be it gulaab, tina, heer and now even simran! Then what really is the difference between the old nawab and this reformed nawab?

Coming to heer (about how this is unfair to her, because we already have enough posts on how this is all her fault)— that girl has been crying from the very beginning, her life has always been a mess and nawab was supposed to be her farishta, her "sunshine", but instead all that really happened post nawab's entry in her life is pure chaos and not the good kind. Some of it he did intentionally, some unintentionally but it doesn't change the fact that she has been hurt too many times simply because he exists in her life and that's not what a farishta is supposed to be! (And I can't help but think that nawab will be a farishta to simran too now, with her abusive past) Fictional world is supposed to relieve your stress, i did not start watching it for some reality check lol. In a fictional story he is supposed to lessen her problems, not add to them!

And people argue that he doesn't have a clue about heer's feelings— does he not? He just wants her to say it out loud, but can he not understand her situation a bit? And alright he doesn't have a clue about heer's feelings, but he knows what he feels right? If he is so in love with heer that he cannot even hug the other girl back, then why give them hope in the first place? Apne move on ke chakkar me kisi aur ka dil todna fair kaise hai? That play was enough for heer to realise, but not for nawab...maybe because his mind was too preoccupied with the 'best date ever' ideas! Anyways this argument feels bogus to me because one look at heer would be enough for the entire world to see how her world still revolves around him but nawab just cannot understand that even after dialogues like "tumhe kuch ho jaata toh" (the masquerade party, last episode I saw) and the freezer episode (where she literally confessed) and drunk heer actually apologising to him. And if he cannot even see that, then what's even the point of all of this? The amount of free passes I have given him under the pretext of "oh he doesn't know" have now expired. This is not what love is supposed to be! Especially not the kind nawab's was. Yes he did stand outside her house for days (implied, we don't know if that was literally just 3 days or something), but that is it? Post that his love just vanished? Because whatever he is doing now doesn't really feel like love at all. (I have been watching precaps on yt, and so I mostly know the last scenes as well) Yesterday before simran called him for the trip, he was sitting near the piano with his head in his hands— what was that supposed to do? Create an impact that oh he feels so confused? He is emotionally stuck on heer, physically trying to move on with simran and then has a mental breakdown how he cannot....so idk, just don't?! Heer is/was forced to do so, and even then she clearly stated that she doesn't have it in her to love someone else, she feels bad for arjun because she feels it's unfair to him (something I still don't understand how). Nawab is doing all of this on his free will— THE TWO ARE NOT THE SAME!

PS: this is all just from the knowledge I have gathered from the sub, the precaps and the insta edits, so please don't expect accuracy :)

My motivation to not watch just got stronger...

My resolution did shake a bit after yesterday's episode (and I might have cheated a bit 😶), but the makers were like nope, not gonna let you break your streak, and this one still is enough for me to go back to my 'not gonna watch this shit' era!

Now i have read posts saying it was a "filler episode" or that it's "not as ragebaiting as it used to be" and I get it, but I still cannot ignore the fact that it's pathetic!! They didn't have anything else to show? Nothing at all, that they had to turn to this? That's his sister-in-law ffs, where are we going with this?

Oh sorry maybe I am narrow minded and normal jija-sali do things like these! Because I seriously cannot unsee it and whatever nawab or heer or simran does post this entire plot, THIS is gonna be there forever!!

"Chii pammi tum heer ki behen ho..." Boundaries My foot!!

Also, Can we have a seperate flair for this disgusting shit?

Maybe it's just me?

I don't like how selective we are as an audience. Yes the heer arjun scene was uncomfortable and heer's expressions were disturbing as well, but where is the same passion to call out the 'forced romance' goes when nawab carriers her on his shoulder against her will? Why is that 'hot' and called out? I remember after the annulment when he did that and she clearly did not want to be carried like that, most of us (including me, even if momentarily) found it hot. But now we, on several platforms, are going as far as saying stuff like 'it made me feel uncomfortable*as a woman*' — which is not a light thing to say about a guy/scene. I really don't like how the ML gets a free pass to do all the zor zabardasti because he has some sort of 'haq'— as hot as that might look, itv needs to change its way of projecting things.

And I am not mentioning the earlier episodes here because back then heer gave it back to him most of the times, calling him toxic, throwing water at his face, even slapping him when he crossed limits with his prank, I am just questioning our judgement— and maybe I am overthinking it, but idk I just felt that most of itv audience is just too lenient towards the ML as if it's allowed for him to do all that BS.

Ps: I am not defending arjun or that scene, it was icky to me as well, but ig we are going a bit overboard with the hate
