How Much Does It Cost to Clear a 1/4 Acre Block in Brisbane for a New Build?
I’m starting to look into building a new home in Brisbane and have been trying to work out the costs before getting too far into the planning. The block I’m looking at is around 1/4 acre, and it has quite a few established trees, some overgrown sections and general vegetation that will need clearing before construction can start.
I’ve seen very different figures mentioned for site clearing, so I’m curious what people are actually paying around Brisbane these days. I understand the price can vary a lot depending on how many trees need removing, whether there are stumps, access for machinery, and how much green waste or other material needs to be taken away.
For those who have recently cleared a similar-sized block in Brisbane, roughly how much did you spend, and what was included in the price? I’m mainly trying to get a realistic ballpark figure for the site-preparation budget before getting quotes.
