If you were notified that your data may have been leaked in the security breach in June, it might be worth checking your MyGov account and changing passwords and security settings. I had an email this morning that notified me of multiple wrong password attempts to my MyGov account, which I haven’t had happen to me before the data leak! I’ve heard it’s very common at tax time, where the hacker/scammer changes the bank account that your tax return will be deposited into. Always worth double checking if you’re worried it might happen to you :)
