My arranged marriage fell apart because of kundli mismatch. Is kundli matching really that important?
Finally met someone who checked every box, shared values, similar interests, genuinely great personality, the whole deal. My parents were thrilled, I was thrilled, I was already mentally planning the wedding playlist. Our stars had aligned, or so I thought.
Then the kundli report happened. Sat there going through the charts and symbols and just felt this slow sinking feeling in my chest as I realized the planets were, apparently, not having it. Felt like getting punched in the gut over a piece of paper.
And the worst part is I just... accepted it. Didn't even really push back. Tradition says kundli matching is non-negotiable for a harmonious marriage, so I quietly said goodbye to someone I actually really liked, heavy heart and all. Still not sure if I regret going along with it or not. Anyone else had their relationship torpedoed by a ""mismatch,"" or am I the only one who let a birth chart make my dating decisions for me?
