What is it?
I picked a few grass/weeds again out of my blue resilience reno in an area of concern. What I picked seems to grow faster. I am not sure if they are all the same but again they don’t seem to belong.

In some areas of my reno it seems to have different types of blades of grass than the rest. I know it’s possible I have some ryegrass. Could this be the case or possibly some weeds? Or just wishful thinking maybe some that established quicker? It just odd to me it’s just in a couple areas.
The first part is showing a little appreciation to this community especially the main contributors for all their help. Niles alone saved my sanity many times and I can’t thank him enough. After last year’s failed renovation Niles really took the time to help me figure out the problems and answer questions and what to correct this time around and it has worked. Thank you! It’s only been two weeks since I put the seed down.
The second part is I have had these little weeds the past two reno and I’m really starting to see the pop up now. I know I can’t do anything about them right now but what might help take care of them once the grass can take some post emergent?
And the third part is I have noticed lately some areas seem to be thinner and went up to them and noticed the grass is chewed down to the stem. Again had this issue last year. I’m assuming it’s rabbits as I have many around my yard. Is there anything I can do to try and keep them away? And will the grass recover or should I possibly reseed and some of those areas?
So I started to slit seed today here in New England and the machine broke down after about 10 passes. Maybe it’s coincidence it broke down but I also set it pretty deep because last time I used it I don’t think it was deep enough. I set it to where it wasn’t stalling out basically. Thoughts?
Is this soil acceptable to slice seed in or do I need to bring in top soil?
The first few pictures are from where I killed off zoysia grass from last year. You can still see some of the dead runners and stolons. The second half of the pictures are another area of the yard. Obviously I won’t be leaving it like this when it comes time.
So I recently got my soil test back and I was hoping I could get some advice on what I should be doing to prepare my lawn to help start over yet again. Also to help me understand a little of what it all might mean. I know some of it is explained in the report. Last year I made posts about killing off a section of my zoysia grass and fought paspalum which also led to a full Reno. I live in New England and didn’t find zoysia very desirable and didn’t match the rest of my lawn. The Reno failed and here I am.
