Buy ETS Practice test

Hello guys, I'm going to take the TOEFL exam this month, July 19th.

I am practicing through the free YouTube channels like test Prp/ English with juva and many other useful channels whether full tests or part by part.

Do you think it's better to buy this practice test or it's not worth it.

If anyone took this exam is it easier or just the same as the real one?

Write an email task

Hello guys, can you rate my answer on a scale from 1-6, and tell me how I can improve my writing for the TOEFL exam.

You are the secretary of the University Film Society. You recently watched a new documentary that focuses on major historical events from the last century. You believe hosting a joint screening of this film would be beneficial for both your club and the History Club. You need to write an email to Casey, the president of the History Club, to propose this collaboration.

Recipient: Casey

Subject: Proposal for a joint screening

Explain your idea for a joint event between the two clubs.

Describe why you think the documentary would appeal to members of both clubs.

Suggest a potential time or venue for the event and ask for a meeting to discuss it.

my answer:

Dear Casey,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to recommend a joint screening event between my club and yours. Last weekend, I watched a historical movie about the Egyptian civilization and the wars that happened over the last century. However, I know the second-year students have an assignment for their history class, which is about this topic.

Consequently, I think this event would be beneficial for them. Additionally, the prices for joining this event would be reasonable for their budgets, too.

I think announcing this event during the next history class will be perfect to catch their attention. We can do it at the sports auditorium at 11:00 AM next Friday. That way, they can get ideas from it and translate it into written form for their research paper.

I am looking forward to hear you opinion about this project.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

TOEFL writing section (Academic discussion)

I'm preparing for the TOEFL exam on my own. Using AI tools and YouTube channels and everything is working perfectly. I was using chatgpt to evaluate my answer then I tried deepseek ( heard it's more accurate) but it's giving me a range of 4 and I need 5.5.

Can you share with me your template? Or give me your opinion on my answer

I strongly agree with Samuel's opinion. Students should be prepared to work right after graduation.

Firstly, students need to secure a good job in their study field, like programming or medicine. This is the best way to use what they learned at university. Also, having a steady income helps them become independent and build a stable life.

For example, after I graduated as a software engineer, I got a job at a well-known company in my city. This job gave me a good salary every month. Now I can save money, travel, and achieve my personal goals. Without this job, I would not be able to do these things.

I understand Hannah's point about critical thinking, and I agree it is important. However, I believe critical thinking alone is not enough. Students also need practical skills to succeed in the real world. Schools and companies should work together to offer internships. This way, students can practice what they learn before they graduate.

In conclusion, practical education is more urgent because it helps students find jobs and build their future. Critical thinking is useful, but it cannot replace real work experience.
