So I am taking admission in one of the nlus, not sure if it's the same for everyone but I was asked my mother tongue and religion. Does it matter? I don't know if I am looking too much into it but this can be used to isolate people of a particular religion or mother tongue and specifically the place has a different culture than that of mine. Can I just avoid these questions entirely? To be honest I am a bit disappointed on why they would ask this?
