shockingly Uruguay got grouped, but the bright side is that Sanabria saw a lot of minutes this tournament, including playing 70 minutes against Lamine Yamal and doing a damned solid job of defending the world's best right forward. hopefully he can bring back some of the intangibles of world cup soccer to RSL (if he's back with us after the summer).
In dreamland where Luna + Gozo make the roster, this is my ideal team. 27th spot would go to Aaronson, 28th to Timothy Tillman. At this point, how is Ream going to be in fitness for World Cup? He was already not up to fitness for last two friendlies and now has been injured for a week or two. Not entertaining Roldan or Reyna business let's be for real here. MLS players definitely can play on our WC team...but ideally not guys whose ceiling is the MLS (tough look for the goalie pool). As for Reyna, I don't know how we can bring a guy who doesn't get minutes for his team. I'd much rather have the MLS guys leading their teams than a benchwarmer.
