Why can I fail the same game level 30 times and keep going, but quit studying after one wrong answer?
Seriously, how does this even make sense
I can spend HOURS stuck on the same part of a game, fail like 30 times, get absolutely nowhere, and somehow still convince myself "nah one more try, I've got this."
But the second I open a tutorial for something I ACTUALLY want to learn, my brain just clocks out after 15 minutes.
And the weird thing is, I don't even hate learning. I actually enjoy figuring things out. It's just that the whole process sometimes feels like a chore.
Like think about it. Games literally make you do the same thing over and over. You fail, figure out what went wrong, try something different, and eventually get better. Except somehow that's FUN?? 🤔
Like why can't learning just feel like that? I'd actually sit through stuff if it felt like trying to beat a level and not another 40-minute lecture.
Am I the only one who feels this way? What's something you've always wanted to learn but just couldn't stick with?
