I really, really, REALLY want to love Homey Pro

I love the flow system, it is amazing and intuitive, and truthfully, a lot of fun coming up with automations. The system is amazing in that regard. All of the included ways to connect to devices (Matter, Zygbee...). It is great, when it works.

I had this issue before, constantly having to power cycle Homey Pro. Last Summer, I was having to power cycle daily from this issue. I thought that it could have been our bad internet from XFinity, who refused to fix the issue. I switched back to Home Assistant, and while their system isn't very user friendly, or intuitive, or fun to setup, it just worked, even with our bad internet issues. We switched to Ziply last October, and things have been great and I finally decided to give Homey Pro a chance again. I redid several of my flows from before, with different devices I have since added into my smart home ecosystem, and I loved setting up the flows again, just like before. It felt great to be back into Homey Pro. I did this last week.

A week later, I have to unplug and replug in my Homey Pro daily, and even then, it might last half hour, hour, a couple hours, all day. I don't know when it's going to fail again. I simplified many of my flows and removed the apps I am not using, yet. Even just in normal use, there is always a delay on Homey activating lights. I literally walk into one of the hallways, thinking "oh, it's just the delay..." but then it never turns on, so I know I have to power cycle my Homey Pro again. If it was dependable, and worked consistently, I can put up with a delay. That won't be a dealbreaker. I have tried different cables and outlets, it hasn't changed.

This is my photography/videography and gaming setup. Photos on background are mine I took. I'm mostly done with the setup. I think only big change I plan to do later is switching from the dual monitor to a curved 49" Samsung. Switch to the Steam Controller when it releases in a week. Server rack contains everything for my smart home setup, along with my NAS, wired wireless access point for my network, network switch, and everything I need to charge for photography and videography. The desk lights are set that when they turn on, deactivates motion sensor in room, and sets a scene for dynamic lighting. When turn off the desk lights, back to normal motion sensor lighting.
