(4.4 spoilers) This line hits a bit harder now :(

She was speaking from her heart the entire time, she knew what it was like😭

Witness the will of the weak

I know her story was a bit controversial but I do love how they gave her such a grounded story, even if its not the most mind boggling and revolutionising.

No Child of Anasrava and Enigmata follower, no Vidyadhara King, just a kid born with a condition outside her control but still grew up who learnt to love the Trailblaze and Astral Express through her father. (That plot twist of Asat being her Dad was so fucking good though i cant lie)

It's cool to see how the Astral Express's origin story as we know of today began at such humble roots lmao, if that makes sense. It makes sense for me cuz I find the Astral Express to be a more relatable faction compared to some of the other factions in the game. Like it does have a lot of crazy lore and is very important in the universe, and some of the members have some crazy lore behind them, but at the same time, it expands upon its found family trope so often that it feels very feels-good if you know what I mean.

Am I tripping, or did we not... (4.4 spoilers below and an important question)

Did we not lose? Wasn't Asat Pramad's whole purpose for us to use the Stellaron so he could use it to awaken the Voracity (husk) for it to hunt its "Aftertaste (elation)" back from Aha and therefore devour THEM (or was it assimilate? I kinda forgot the 3 ways to kill an Aeon)

I initially thought the ending was really anti climatic with Asat's defeat but then when the ground started shaking, it dawned to me we haven't dealt with the Voracity yet. And wasn't it Asat's whole plan?

I remember in the boss fight he was taunting us/ragebaiting us to activate our stellaron the whole time. He even straight up told us if you landed a critical success when u ask him how to defeat us, that the only way to defeat him is with our Stellaron.

Guess the only thing he failed was his side quest of ending the Astral Express's trailblaze journey but I always felt that was a side quest of his.

Did he only try to go after trying to kill Himeko in the cutscene so we would become desperate enough to use our Stellaron?

Now Planarcadia is about to get eaten alive. It's funny tho, the whiplash from Himeko's ost in the final phase to this.

And if I get this right, this was essentially his whole plan:

  1. Make Evanescia a Supplicant from the start.
  2. Break Fulwish psychologically completely by sending her the message with the note and Fool's Mask and aid her in giving away Shuhu's flesh.
  3. This would send Planarcadia in an initial frenzy/apocalypse,. Fulwish's shenaningans would also nerf Silver Wolf by forcing her to activate her Level 999 power early and thus not be able to use it again when Asat actually appeared himself.
  4. This would also mean Evanescia had to step in and break the only rule to evoke her Arbitrator power, weakening her and essentially sending her AFK essentially for the next few patches and eliminating her completely from the Games.
  5. As Evanescia was in sleep, this allowed Asat to easily break into the World in Canvas to confront Graphia and try break the seal.
  6. 4.4 happens, he breaks the seal through us using our stellaron.

Did I get this all right? Or am I misunderstanding the story completely.

I have one question tho: How did us using our Stellaron awaken the Voracity? Is it because the Stellaron answered our wish to save Himeko (and power up Starblazer) and ensure the crew survives against Asat but distorted it by introducing a calamity straight after surviving Asat? Kinda like a monkey's paw right?

Looking for a new/newish (but don't mind) ASIA ZZZ account with m0 harumasu on it

Might be a weird request but that guy hasn't gotten a rerun since his launch 😭 and I really want him. Don't mind the other characters on the account, but I want a m0 Harumasu on an Asian account. It'll be better if the account was newish/new but Idm if its an old account!

DM me if you fit this and you're willing and we can talk prices there :)

Also what's the best relic set for him (Personal damage wise) aside from the new set cuz I don't have good pieces for that yet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated 😄

Unlike most other Ravagers we've seen so far who mostly uses bruteforce to achieve its destruction, Asat is known for destroying civilisations through degrading his enemies pyschological through endless torment behind the scenes.

I read thru his lore and its stated he acts more like a "chessmaster" or like someone observing an ant colony.

>Calm and composed, he prefers to study and research the civilizations he attacks, commanding his invasion forces with the utmost care, strategically ordering them to advance slowly and overwhelm the enemy, denying them any chance of resistance.

>In the case of the Ogul Ring, Asat spent a hundred years ordering his Voidrangers to slowly advance so that the front line formed a single sentence: "Destruction is where laughter ends. It is mourning, not celebration." It is believed that he is the destroyer of the Elation, and it does not seem as though he has any intention of denying it. Upon the surface of each dead planet, he imprints a gigantic smiling face, as if laughing at the passing of all that has existed

sounds fuckin terrifying icl, and very fitting with the theme of Elation. Bro is a literal ragebaiter, but the consequence of falling for the bait is literally utter annihilation of literal civilisations and planets.

The worse thing is, he's already been showing how he employs his own form of Destruction on Planarcadia already. He already knew about Fulwish's suffering from the Herald of Death (he could've even been behind this) and knew how the media used this to trap her in an irl Truman show to profit and use her suffering to their benefit.

He probably sent her that Fool's Mask as the last straw as a pyschological attack to push her suffering over the edge for her to enact her revenge plan on the world, to send the arcadia into chaos which played right into Asat's cards as it allowed him to introduce Shuhu into Planarciada through her actions.

You can also see him taunting with SW in the latest patch, literally ragebaiting her for the hell of it lmao.

So yeah, I hope HSR writes him as well as their other villains so far, and I hope they lean more into his aspect of achieving destruction through pyschological torment, as it would be really fitting for Planarcadia and Elation as a whole.
