I have 1/2" PEX in my cabin bathroom projects.
The situation is the same in both bathrooms. (The cabins are stand alone, but the plumbing is laid out the same in both.)
The service in has a regular ball valve to shut on/off the entire bathroom.
Almost at the valve I have a tee that feeds one way directly to the shower, and the other way it goes to el and then to supply an 18g water heater, sink, toilet.
Distance from tee to shower head is about 7' - the pex is at about 45 from floor to handle height, then an el to the shower. Distance from the tee going the other way is about 10" to the el - then 10" to the water tank in, and then 2' to the sink and another 2' to the toilet.
THE ISSUE: The showers have full (cold) pressure. But the other fixtures have almost nothing - more than a drip, but about ( I'm guessing) about 30m for a gallon from the sink.
Why is my pressure good one way and so low the other way.
