This is mainly re: how the potential impacts Caleb mains and not really about 6 LI theories and whether or not it is happening. This post is more of a hypothetical lol.

Hey everyone! I wanted to get a pulse check specifically from fellow Caleb mains, since we’re the group that already mains the most recently introduced LI. I’m curious how we ~feel~ about the possibility of a 6th LI and how that would impact you as a Caleb main?

Assuming it was happening... are you looking forward to it or not, and why?

What conditions would make you open to a 6th LI? (ex. more base content Caleb).

My personal take:

For me, the appeal is:

• More free resources during his events (assuming the schedule is tightened)
• More complete free lore/main story
• Another source of diamonds I can funnel back into Caleb lmao (release event, R3 his cards in wish pull etc)
• A chance for Infold to fill in missing base content for Caleb (bond stories, anecdotes, a few standard-pool cards)

At this point, I don't think Caleb mains will ever get perfectly equal base content to the OG, but I’m hoping the delay might mean Caleb might get a bit more before a new LI drops. Maybe I am delusional, but it is the only thing that makes sense after not receiving additional base content at the 2nd anniversary. Tbh, my openness to a 6th LI is honestly tied to whether we get that base content.

I do understand the concerns that a 6th LI adds roughly a month of extra banners (birthday week, solo, myths), it could widen the card gap, making it harder and unrealistic for non-OG 3's to catch up on content. The schedule is already tight for people who want more downtime.

Personally, I get bored at the end of long banners once I’ve finished all tasks, so I wouldn’t mind shorter or overlapping banners (especially myths or solo reruns). I can't find the original comment in the main sub, but there is a way to balance the schedule to be extremely similar to what we have now, including yearly solos for each LI, an equal amount of multis. It was tight, though, so I totally get it. I guess it centers around whether Infold prioritizes having a balanced schedule. Also, with the current pity/precise wish system, I don’t think it becomes harder to get your main, the 75/25 (multis), and 50/50 (solos and myths) soft pity and guaranteed precise wish still apply for multis. The only real pain point is if you get a non-preferred standard 5-star card. NOTE: correct me if I'm wrong ofc.

Note: Ofc, I want the next main story update for Caleb. Imo it only makes sense to release a 6 LI after the main story update since it's been over a year for a Caleb-centered main story.

Anyways, I’m genuinely curious where other Caleb mains land on this. Do you see a 6th LI as an advantage (more content, more resources, more general free lore) or do you feel it’s mostly a disadvantage (bc of pacing, card gaps, and risk of balancing content)? Are you open to a new LI if certain conditions are met?

I know it’s a controversial topic, but we all love Caleb, and being open or annoyed about a 6th LI doesn’t change that. Don't be frustrated at me or the commenters. As I said, I see a 6 LI as an opportunity... for Caleb 😗
