Why are there so many student-related violent incidents this week?

Is it just me or parang nakaka-alarm na yung sunod-sunod na incidents involving students here in the Philippines lately?

After lumabas yung news about the Tacloban school shooting where 3 students were killed and many were injured, parang biglang may pattern na lumilitaw.

Within the same week, may reports din ng multiple stabbing incidents sa Cavite schools then the incident sa Iloilo regarding sa grade 9 student

Gets ko na sinasabi ng iba na “isolated cases” lang, pero when you look at it happening within just a few days, across different places.

do you think this is just increased visibility dahil sa social media, or is this actually a growing problem na hindi pa natin fully ina-address?

I am so concerned right now dahil I have siblings in elementary and junior high, I am kinda getting paranoid.

Medical Exam Clarification

Help me guys 🥹

Kanina, I submitted my CICT requirements.
May orientation si Ms. Ma’am Maganda about the process of our medical examination, pero she was speaking in Hiligaynon and medyo mabilis. It was too late na rin para sabihin na I only understand Hiligaynon a bit, and nahiya na ako magtanong ulit kasi busy sila assisting other applicants.

I will state what I understood about the medical examination process. Please give me corrections, manongs and manangs. Thank you!

Here’s what I understand:

  1. Magpapa-lab test ako (such as CBC, X-ray, etc.—basta yung may check sa form) at any clinic of my choice during June 22–24.

  2. On June 25 or 26, ipapasa ko na yung original copies sa University Health Services, and I will undergo my medical and dental examination there.

  3. During the medical and dental examination, females are allowed to wear shorts, sandals/slippers, etc.

  4. After the medical and dental examination, makakakuha kami ng medical certificate stating that I am physically fit.

  5. Things to bring during the scheduled medical exam:
Complete laboratory results (Original & Photocopy)
Long plastic envelope (for incoming 1st year only)
    2 pcs. 2x2 colored picture
    Ballpen
    Face mask
    Hand sanitizer / alcohol

+1 Question:
Also, saan po located yung University Health Services?

Thank you so muchhh!

What is your “to go” places when you’re bored?

Hi! I’ve been in Iloilo for almost 2 months now, and I’m wondering if there are any cool places to just “tambay” or explore within or outside the city.

I’m kind of tired of SM and Festive Walk and other common spots already. I’m more of a support-local, adventurous type, so I’d really love recommendations for hidden gems or less mainstream places.

It can be a restaurant, a small hangout hub, a quiet park, a library, or anything interesting.
Also, please recommend some good chaolong spots—I really miss chaolong from back home.
