I plan on watching Hairspray first, bc I was very excited to see that it was getting the criterion treatment! I have been wanting to own the Agnes Varda collection for some time now, and this seemed like the perfect time to make it happen. American Utopia was a blind buy for me, I hadn’t heard of it before picking it up today and the main reason I did was because it is a Spike Lee joint. The next criterion release that I must add to the collection is that amazing Kubrick box set coming out later this year.

I’ve had this in the collection for years and years now and I just found the hidden compartment! Such a really nice touch and I love how the criterion collection really puts so much effort into their releases!
