What us orientation like for Fordham? I see that there’s a lot of events, but I’m confused on like what each of them mean because the schedule is kind of confusing.

How does add/drop work?

So my registration went horribly and I had to pick classes where I didn’t know the professors. I also was not able to get into comp 2 or finite because they got filled. My macro economics professor came out and he’s literally rated a 2.7 and everybody is saying to drop his class so I’m trying to find another section to add so I can drop that section but do you wait until school to do that or can you do it when registration reopens? I’m also trying to use plan ahead to see open sections and there’s really not that many so how does it work for add drop because if I’m planning on dropping a class I need to pick up another section of it but if they’re all saying full, like I’m confused on how that works. Because I was hoping to drop philosophy (bc i dont wanna take phil and theo at the same time but my advisor told me to put it as a placeholder in hopes I can drop it for comp 2 or finite) and hopefully pick up a comp 2 or finite, but there’s nothing available. I’m just confused on how the whole thing works and I’d appreciate any opinions.

Do the beds have 26 inches or 36 inches of space under them because the virtual tour website says 36 but the reg website says 26?

Are we not allowed to raise our beds in the dorms?

Like are they already that high when we come into the dorm or do we have to move it up ourselves to have space under the bed. Also how much space is there?? The virtual tour website said 36 inches but Fordham website said 26

Rate this schedule…

I got on for registration and within five seconds I submitted my plan and I got nothing so I have no idea who these professors are and I’m actually so done because there was no comp two or math finite available and I needed to take finite and macro and micro for my gabelli transfer (according to my advisor..) so I had to take African art history and philosophy, even though I only wanted to take theology this semester… but I’m hoping I can take comp two and finite during the add drop period

Econ 1010 and Econ 1020

I’m an incoming freshman at RH and I want to internally transfer to the Gabelli school of business after one semester. I had a meeting with my advisor and she told me I should be taking econ 1010, econ 1020, and math 1100 along with comp 2 and either theology and philosophy. I made two plans for registration. I was just wondering who the best econ 1010 and econ 1020 professors are. For math 1100 i plan to take Nghia Vuong. For econ 1010 I was seeing a lot of good reviews for Tiffany Hanna and Kole Camaj. I was seeing better reviews for Tiffany Hanna. For econ 1020 I saw good reviews for Mary Beth Combs and Illhami Gunduz. If you guys have any input on professors for these two classes, please let me know. I just wanna make sure I’m choosing good professors because I know some are harder than others
