Larry caught a crosswind that pulled his left arm off the bike. As he tried to recover, his head came up above the fairing, exposing him to the full force of 200+ mph airflow. The wind then ripped him from the motorcycle. He slid roughly 700 feet before coming to a stop. Fortunately, his leathers did exactly what they were designed to do. He walked away sore and needing only a few stitches.
