Cat parents of Pune, how do you find trustworthy boarding for your cats?🥺

Hiii! Fellow cat parent here of a cute 2 year old female 🐈❤️
I came here to share a quite upsetting experience from our visit to a cat boarding place for our cat. We were looking for a home away from home for our cutie when we would have to leave the city for a week or so. So, I found the place/person from this app called ‘PetBacker’.
First of all, when we met her, it really felt like a business meeting rather than meeting a person who genuinely loves and cares for animals. I don’t think charging is inherently wrong. But I think there’s a difference between running a business that provides good care and treating animals primarily as units of revenue.
We went to see the room where the cats are “kept”- I almost teared up thinking how my cat would fit in this set up 😭 In one small room, she had 3 unfamiliar cats; all cooped up in 3 different corners- 2 cats on top corners of 2 different cupboards and one cat hiding under the curtain 😭.
They all had just ONE LITTER BOX in the room which they share!!!
The cats looked so alert and not comfortable at all - of course. And she wanted to keep our cat, a fourth cat in the same room!!! She didn’t sound like she would stop at 4- maybe she will take more if she gets the opportunity to.
I can absolutely understand parents making the decision to leave their cats there. We also went to visit hoping to find a loving and caring home for her where she can stay stress free, comfortable and just chill like she does at her own home.
We actually had a family friend here who would always take our cat in whenever we had to leave town. They even took care of her during some very difficult times when we had to leave suddenly following a death in our family. ❤️
Unfortunately, they’ve since been transferred to another city, so we no longer have that option. That’s why we’ve started looking for alternatives, and this experience has honestly left me feeling a little helpless.

So I just wanted to see how other cat parents deal with such situation please 🥺 If you use boarding, what do you look for to ensure that your cats are genuinely comfortable and well cared for? I’d especially appreciate recommendations for trustworthy cat sitters or boarding facilities, available at reasonable prices.
I just want to find a safe, loving environment for our little girl where she’ll be cared for as an individual, rather than just accommodated as another pet ❤️
