The AI discourse has become completely vile

Looking at the timeline, almost every single day there is a CEO posting another novel about 20% layoffs and how they are "transforming the organization".

Lately the responses to these posts started being as follows:

"If you have not mastered AI by now, you are completely useless in today's workforce and are waiting to be laid off. You have 0 leverage and the clock is ticking. I dont care about your feelings, it's all inevitable etc...."

Yes, that is an excerpt from a high-follower account, many are similar, with lots of interactions and others forwarding the message.

How can a person be so disgusting and cozying up to this vision while directly belittling livelihoods?

I don't see a way out of this honestly. AI will probably get cheaper anyway over the years, look at the storage disk industry from the 90s.
