I am a law student moving on to final year. I plan to sit my contract law fe1 one exam on October. However, from people I have heard that you only get a conditional offer from top firms if you have passed the fe1 in three sittings?

First time studying for fe1’s. I’ve just completed law. My friend did it in 2024 I have val corbetts book from 2024 of contract law. Would it be okay if I use that? Or would I have to use the latest one? What’s the difference. Pls someone help.
