Starting out

I'll get straight to the point here, I plan on starting furniture restoration (coffee tables, Chester draws and the such) and working on that before I gain further experience with wood to the point where I can make pieces myself, whether that be furniture or general carved pieces.

So to this willing to provide the help, what advice would you provide to me as a beginner? Even things as minor as things you found a pain in the ass would be helpful so I know what to look out for.

As a whole I know what tools I'll be looking out for etc, but if you have any tips in the order of how to do things I would greatly appreciate that.

Much love to you guys and the community, I love what you guys do here.
