I’ve recently built a MUCH larger encloser for my marginated tortoise and I’m wondering what’s the cheapest substrate/bedding I can use whilst still giving her the best life I can.

It’s a fairly large enclosure so I need to keep the cost down on the substrate

Since there is a lot of weeds growing right now is it possible if I freeze them so my tortoise can eat them over winter ?

I presume it was because she was stressed so I put her back in her enclosure straight after this, she was on my bed
