Books read in May

Wasn't a bad month for reading. Currently read the last book from the licanius trilogy and i can tell that this is already better than the last two.

Wool : I had bought this book a year ago after how much i had enjoyed the first season of silo but the book was disappointing. Few cases where the adaptation is far superior. Atleast for me.

Pet sematary : Finally, i got the chance to try Stephen King's work after hearing so much praise. First horror book i tried and the eerie and thrill i felt while read the book was astounding. I read most of the book at night and found it so creepy and disturbing. Really worth it.

Licanius trilogy - Book 1 and 2 : The lore and complexity of the work is something i admire the author did in his work. The writing and prose reminded me very much of Brandon Sanderson, plain and simple. I could also tell that the author was a little inspired by Mistborn. The character building could have been a lot better as i couldn't feel connected to any of them. The dialogues could have also been better. The magic system is confusing, i am on book 3 now, and i still don't fully grasp how kan and essense works lol. But regardless, the lore and worldbuilding are top - notch. If you are interested in a complex, confusing and rich story and lore regarding fate and time travel, this is worthwhile. Just don't dove in expecting much about character building or prose.
