Apana mane ei post te paai mate kharap bhabi paranti, BUT HAD TO SAY THIS OUT LOUD- I am coming across a lot of reels on Instagram on Savitri brata and i am seeing something very unsettling. The wife/women basically drinking the water the husband has washed their feet with. I mean no offence to anyone’s beliefs but isn’t it demeaning to the woman? I am not against any fast/vrat for your husband but isn’t it taking it a bit too far in today’s times. Isn’t it a way of putting your husband in a God position? And young women who just got married not even aunties. My mother also keeps the Vrat and I am from a super religious family but have never seen my mother doing this. Am I missing something here?
