My pc is windows 10, I got it in 2024.I worked with all the Windows office 2007 apps,instead of Ms365.It was working fine.Everything was good.Suddenly,when I boot my pc up today, i couldn't find my 2007 files.They all had been converted to Ms365.When I opened the files, it opened in word 365 instead of Word 2007.It was not that big of a problem at first,but then I tried inserting pictures ,it said it would require a subscription.I couldn't do it

I want to get into engineering, I have interest in semiconductor and low level language.But everyone around me is saying that it's not a very profitable career.EVERY BLOODY ONE including my uneducated uncles and friends dad's and random people on the bus who asked what i wanna do say that ""Oh YoU ShOuLd GeT InTo ThE Ai IndUsTrY"" and stuff like that.Thats ironic, considering the people saying this are the same ones who ask me for help when they wanna change their wallpaper.

ALL this AI overhype is kind of driving me crazy.I have done my part of the research and what I've been seeing recently,people are NOT very happy about AI being crammed into EVERYTHING.When Google came up with the Android 17 and called it 'The biggest Android update ever' and people realized that it was ALL about AI,the technologically educated people I know we're pretty mad.Even what Geoffrey Hinton,John Mccarthey said suggested that the industry is overhyped and ignorant of customers opinions. So I am pretty lost, I don't know what I will become but I can give a few reasons on why i DONT want to get into Ai IndUsTrY.

1.Only the technologically uneducated are the ones to overhype,all the educated consumers of products I know are not happy about this overhyping.

2.It is an industry where experience is not a valuable asset,unlike semiconductors.

3.Lack of personal interest

So, WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO IF I WANT DECENT PAY AND ALSO LIKE MY JOB?
