Looking for electricity providers in Germany / Berlin - does it matter which one I choose?
I moved to Germany (Berlin) and now I need to pick an electricity provider for my appartment. I've already checked comparison sites, but there are so many options that I'm not sure what actually matters. Is there a real difference between providers or bacsically just about picking the cheapest kWh price?
I'm especially wondering about price guarantees and contract length, if there's actually good customers service and the first year bonuses (I've already read that switching every year is a pretty established thing and that it is an easy thing?)
Also, how do you differentiate between actual green energy and just green marketing?
Do you have any prociders you can recommend and what to avoid? Basically I'm hoping to figure out what to look out for before signing a contract.
