Hi all! I’m a first time poster. I plan on bringing this tourmaline to a local family owned jeweler in hopes to get this made into a silver pendant. I’ve seen many rough tourmalines set with a cap on one end of the stone. I’d rather not go that direction since I’d be sacrificing stone length. The length of this tourmaline is approximately 15mm and almost a perfect cylinder. I was wondering if I could please get opinions on what type of settings/designs YOU may find interesting. I can provide more photos if you’d like. The stone is flat and terminated on the top end and the bottom end is angled slightly. In theory I’d like the flat end to be the bottom of the pendant. I’d also like to avoid drilling into the stone. Thank you!
