Anyone know a lawyer I ca. consult for free?

Hello! If anyone knows an immigration lawyer that I can get a free consultation from (even if I have to hire them later) could you please reply. I’d appreciate it.

Case refused but other accepted?

Hi again, just checked the ceac case status, and it says it was updated the day I did the interview with my parent Applicant.I used my parents information and it wouldn't give results but it did with mine? Ive already done the interview, we have done the interview. Also it says one of the cases was rejected but the other was approved? How can this be? I'm very confused and a little (ALOT) frazzled. Do I call the Embassy for answers or do I assume js because I am from a paused country?

Very anxious and would like some clarity or spare hope…

Hello, I’ve been waiting on this process to happen since Dec 2016, when I was a minor, and it finally is and I’m so scared and anxious.

This June 15th I had finally finished my interview at a consular office in one of the banned countries, Jamaica to be specific, and was told that the process is finished and that they would contact us for the passports to be shipped as soon as the pause is lifted. The officer said that I was able to be reunited with my family soon but I’m unsure what that means.

On other sub reddits I’ve seen others saw that they were approved and qualified after the news was lifted but I don’t know what that means for myself. I know there’s processing happening but I’m unsure if that means that visas will be printed soon. If anyone who has had their visa in hand and is from the one of the 39/75 countries could you please tell me how that process when for you or really anyone willing to explain the process to me. Thank you in advance.
