First time ever working on something like this and I definitely learned a lot! I took her apart, disassembled fairings and lights, sanded, and painted. Laid a UV clear coat over the paint to keep it protected.

I know its not 100% accurate, and ill have to add some teal on the top of the tank but I’m really happy with it! (And at the end of the day, its a KLR) The before look is on my page for reference of how far shes come!

Now i just need the decal kit lol

Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been working on the KLR. Reupholstered the seat purple (going for the Barbie KLR look). I also replaced the rear tune signals, and undid the lowering links back to stock. Let me know what y’all think!

Any advice for making a barbie KLR replica? I’m trying to source the decals right now!

Paid a solid 1500, no rust in the tank, doohickey replaced, 10,000 miles. Very excited to build her out like she’s new again!
