Shelf works great. Modified the actual perch to make a more rounded design. Otherwise so far so good!
Got my nano cord in the mail, and upgraded from wood buttons that im certain would fail. To brass buttons that are rock solid. Kestrel design should be effective.
It seems like micro and nano poly cord is the go to, but kevlar is lighter and cheaper. Is there any reason why I couldnt use kevlar cord to braid my gear instead?
Learned to make braided jesses and leashes this week.
Looking for any feedback on this perch I built. My sponsor wants me flying a kestrel this year and recommended a shelf perch. I guess this is my shot at it.
