Realtor Social Media Influencers Are A Sign Of An Industry Wide Identity Crisis

It breaks my souls that agents are wasting time posting to social media just to get 50 views and 4 likes.

But I think the deeper question is why is it that the vast majority of info and guidance that we’re getting from RE coaches is practically become a social media influencer and use ai to run ever aspect of the business. It just seems odd.

Is this a sign of an industry that’s going through an identity crisis? It seems like day by day the value realtors bring is being questioned more and more, and the answer we give is becoming less and less as new technologies break down the walls with buying and selling homes and what may go into it.

I should add that this pertains mainly to newer agents trying to find ways to get leads, but also older agents that already have a solid repeat & referrals pipeline.

What do you think?
