Serious Data Recovery
Hello and good day,
This might seem like a simple post but it's actually pretty severe. I will try to keep this short and understandable.
- I don't have any File History set up, no Restore Point, or any of that.
- I have no Cloud saves.
- I'm trying various Data Recovery Softwares like Disk Drill but they're not helping me much right now
Problem: I deleted all my files that were ON the Desktop. Please do not ask how, it happened. They were too big for the recycle bin so they were permanently deleted. But I've read that the data is still there just inaccessible.
I'm trying Winfr right now, the command prompt since I'm getting the feeling that this one is the most reliable.
Question: Is it possible, by whatever means, to CHECK ALL FILES that were ON the Desktop at a certain point in time, like 2 weeks ago, and bind them together and extract them? Because so far I keep getting all the files extracted separately.
The files I had on the Desktop were not shortcuts to the files, but the actual files themselves.
So is it possible to say: Find all the icons/files that were on the Desktop/Desktop folder in the month of June 2026 and extract them to another drive?

The PC itself is not corrupted or working strangely, I just deleted some very important files and I'm trying to get them back. They were no more than 80 items total: mixed files - photos, text files, video files, even trec files because I use Camtasia, all on the (OneDrive)/Desktop, and all important info I need. Also other folders which I forgot to add were on there.
