First off, I gotta say how awesome this island is and how lucky I feel to live on it.
As the title suggests, I’m looking for some epic alpine routes on the island. I’m looking for long routes like Golden Hinde, Albert Edward, Kings Peak, Hkusam, etc. I’m comfortable with scrambling/climbing up to Class 4 and/or being in very remote areas.

As the title suggests, I’m considering purchasing a pair of GoldenEar ForceField 3s from FB marketplace. They are listed as $650CAD ($466USD).
I would be pairing them with my Paradigm Active 40 V2s, which already have an impressive low-end extension but I’m a sucker for a good deal. Electronic music is pretty much the only thing I listen to so I’m less interested in musical precision than I am raw power <60hz.
What are your initial impressions? Should I pull the trigger, or is there better to be purchased for around that price?
Got these guys off Facebook Marketplace and…. Holy moly am I impressed.
This is my first pair of active speakers and I am shocked at how easily these outperform my Fluance HHF Signature Series that are triple the size/weight. Very happy with these and wanted to share on this sub for the first time!
For those wondering, I paid $550 CAD :)
