My solution for the chat
So basically the chat is probably the biggest feature in Bloxd and how you can communicate with others in the game, but considering there are issues like people being rude to each other and saying bad stuff or just being mean in general, I think the best solution would be one of two things:
Removing the chat entirely. This might be a very controversial change that is sure to make a lot of players mad, but to be fair, the majority of the audience of Bloxd is kids so I'm sure they wouldn't notice. Minefun, a similar Minecraft clone, removed their chat, not because of that, but because Poki, the website the game is hosted on, basically told them to. But still, removing the chat will leave one less thing that has to be moderated, one less thing the devs have to worry about.
Safe chat system. Basically like the system in Roblox where you get to choose from specific phrases like "Hi!" "How are you?" "GG!" "Let's team up!" or "Let's be friends!". The standard chat can be kept, but if you typed into the chat, it could automatically fill in phrases for you. An idea for the chat filter would be to basically replace all filtered words said with something nice in the chat, like for example if someone said a swear word, everyone would instead see "I'm a nice person!".
I know the last thing people would want is the chat being overhauled, but do let me know what you guys think.
