Consent in 2026
🇬🇧Context: the woman above ig:beavalantinaite stated that on 13th Sept 2025 she was SA'd by the owner of Link Up TV Rashid (a well known YouTube channel based in the UK for Rap/Grime and other type of musicians) on a work trip, and shares screenshots stating that he's admitted to it, and in the screenshots he stated "i made a mistake, apologised for it, you told me you really hate me, so I know where we currently stand" and "it was defo (definitely) a mistake, misjudged situation from my part" the messages she posted on her story and I pinned in comments.
The thing is she mentioned the fact that she never said, "No I never said no, i will admit to that, but he put me on his lap by force when he was kissing me and my eyes were wide open, my lips were not moving, and he admitted he SA'd me", with this in mind and no clarification or mention of alcohol and drugs meaning they both could've been under the influence.
Is this a case of Men in the music industry taking advantage of women as she's stating it to be or are men and women still not giving or receiving clear consent in 2026?
And is she in the wrong? Or Is he in the wrong? Or both?
I belive its both and that this is the result of men and women still not giving or receiving clear consent even in 2026
