Best private accomodations?

Was unable to get an LSE hall so I need to go private.

Some are stupidly expensive (urbanest for £850pw+) and others have really questionable reviews, any good ones near LSE or at least near bus stops / underground that still have space under 350pw?

Thanks all

edit: 1st yr undergrad so can't do graduate halls

Best parts about LSE?

Was never a fan of it but insured it anyways (yes I'm stupid) I haven't been to any open days offer holder days or even seen it. I can't find any LSE accom so I think I need to look private but I thought a key part of the experience was halls?

Anyways can someone help me out with fun quirks about LSE or social life or your avg day there? Apart from it being a prestigious uni.

thanks

I'm not receiving ANY letters about my car?

Hi all,

I've had my car for about 15 months now, and I've expected a few letters in this time that have just not shown up, don't know if I am very lucky or if I'm accumulating fines somewhere.

More than half a year ago, I accidentally left the train station car park without paying, I normally buy it in bulk, 3 months at a time and I didn't realise it had expired. I immediately renewed it afterwards but I was expecting a PCN for that entire day. I'm certain the ANPR works as my friends have got charges from the train station as well as other people on the local Facebook group. Similarly I drove into a taxi only entrance a few months ago because I was stupid and once again I know many people who have been caught out by this, but nothing yet.

I did recieve a letter for when my road tax was about to expire though, and the V5C has the correct address on it.

Am I just lucky or is there any way I can check this stuff?

Thanks :)

Is it stupid to buy an identical car with 40k more miles after the old one broke down?

Sorry in advance as this is a bit more van focused than car.

My dad has (had?) a 2020 Peugeot Expert 2.0 diesel which has just died at 60k miles because the timing belt snapped and the cheapest quote to repair is £8k, so off to the scrapyard it goes. We were told that the belt had been done in service from the dealer just over a year ago but only got it verbally unfortunately.

A family friend is offering an identical van, from colour to trim level, but 104k miles on the clock, with timing belt, water pump done at 101k and full service history at Peugeot too. We used the old one heavily, for business, commuting, school runs, as well as occasional 350 miles+ roundtrips for work. Hoping to kill two birds with one stone and use this new one lightly just for business and replace our old Toyota with a new commuter / school run car.

Are these vans just crap in general or did we get a lemon? (or is it just because we were too naive fully trusting a dealer haha). Anything inherently bad with the 2.0 120hp engines? Would anyone even consider buying the same car again?

Thanks all

The best "hacker" of all time - Kee (2019)

I've only covered Computer Science briefly for GCSE's / A Levels (Class 12 in India), and even I know half of what he's saying is just crap 😂

Good concept but absolutely terrible execution.

Any other scenes come to mind (apart from Thamizh Padam 2 ofc haha)
