How long should i water fast?

I have been reading quite alot about water fasting, and the most attractive part i read is, that when you lose a lot of weight during the water fast, you dont really have much loose skin.

Now i am 21, about 123kg and 176cm tall, how long would i need to fast to atleast drop down under 100kg?

I have been struggling all my life with being overweight, and over time ive noticed it affecting me way more both mentally and physically. My joints and my back are hurting more often than id like to admit and my confidence just keeps sinking like a ship with a massive hole. My job is also a bit physically demanding, which i sometimes cant handle that well with my weight.

id like to be able to do things without it being a monumental task, and constantly being scared of breaking random chairs or anything else is just so embarrassing. there are so many things that would be way better, if i wouldnt be so obese.

im scared water fasting might affect my performance at work aswell, especially in the 35-40° Celsius heatwave we have going on right now in europe. (i work outside all day most of the time)

But if possible, id like to fast however long is needed so my body can recover from all the damage ive caused over the years.

My fear of being a diabetic in the future is also very real haha.

Thanks to anyone who might be able to give me a bit of advice here.
