In need of guidance, possible commission
Small intro, I have been doing the designing part of a custom TCG business for the better half of 2 years. Running into a small production snag lately, don't want to limit myself to when the printer i was working with is available as it has left a lot of production on the table. He's also a busy guy and I don't want to stress him out.
In this day and age, is there any option for a single card print machine that might be feasible for textured foil cardstock? The printer I've been working with was using a Mimaki and my understanding is these are the top of the line for TCG customs. I'd love to invest in one but no where near that kind of financial availability.
If anyone seeing this is familiar with the 3 layer print process (I split my files into Color, Opaque, and Texture tiff files) and has a Mimaki they can help me with getting an order done, and is located in the US, please reach out to me. I'm a bit behind schedule and stressed out to no end.
