While there's life, there's hope.

There is no canon design for the akul in star wars, so i decided to make my own as it appears in my fics.

Legends gave us a description for the og akul, but that seems to have been given to the rakshir in totj, so instead of making another orange plains cat, i decided to make the akul an arboreal jungle cat.

I made its build panther like, but make no mistake, this beast is as big as a horse, easily able to take out an entire hunting party if it gets the drop on you.

It's got dunkleosteous inspired teeth, platelike and metalic. I figure the spade teeth are used by the togruta for traditional headresses, and the piercing teeth are reserved for making ceremonial tools.

Its four eyes and twin tails are meant to imply that it and the nexu might share a distant ancestor. But unlike the nexu, its outer eyes set to the side, for 240 degree vision. The implication being that as terrifying as the akul is, there's something even worse out there that hunts *it*.

It only uses its bioluminescence for threat displays or mating dances, the rest of the time, it prioritizes blending into the shadows.

Oh, and Nihilus is here too, i guess. He may be a void in the shape of a man, but that doesnt preclude rocking a slutty waist and a side slit skirt.

My wife doesnt really get my obsession with the clone wars, and Echo in particular, but, divine creature that she is, she got me the black series ARC trooper Echo figure for me birthday. She let me have him early, and i am over the moon!
