Had the M77 nearby, figured why not. A little 7.62 NATO vs 7.92 Mauser action. Honestly, Zastava quality has been pretty consistent for decades. It's probably been the same dude using an angle grinder on the carrier since the 80s.
Snagged one of these since it comes with all of the receiver bits. Can't wait to get it.
Who should I send it to for a reweld?
Will a 4.5mm folding trunnion install into the same rivet holes as a 5.5? I know the rear of the receiver is relieved for the hinge, not sure if that would look goofy.
I have a rifle with a 5.5 that I want to have a 4.5 trunnion installed into.
Realistically, how many times can a barrel be changed before a trunnion is compromised?
I have a Nork barrel I want to have installed on my Type 68 kit build, which would be its 3rd barrel (original, AKB barrel, now an original replacement).
Can a Romanian UF rear trunnion and underfolder assembly be fitted to a 1.5mm Yugo receiver? Would it fold properly? I have an idea for a ratty build and I really like the Romanian angled folder. Obviously I'm sure it would require some real machining work. I've seen a post where a dude mentioned he swapped his Yugo folder for a Polish.
If the Romy won't work, what about Chinese?
I have both certs, but I'm unsure if I should put the -CMC on my header. It will fit without being too crowded.
Last years application I had just CCRN and was wait-listed, for this application I have also earned the CMC certification.
So should I include that on the header or just add it to my Certification section?
Why does Tortort not do 80% receivers anymore? With all of the kits with intact front stubs, you'd think someone would make milled back halves.
Are there any other options for milled back halves?
