Issues with Control Freak with Aluminum w/ Induction Base?

Just got a control freak, and when I'm making candy, one of my newer aluminum pans that has an induction base seems to be fine until about 200F, then shuts on and off every 20 degrees, indicating that there is a sensor issue even though I'm using the probe with probe control. The probe and base temps are pretty close together, within 10 degrees or less, but one thing to note is that the center of the base is not magnetic, it basically has a very wide "ring" that covers most of the bottom other than the center. Zero issues with a stainless stockpot, even though that has a deeper indent where the sensor is, along with engraving, etc.

Question: Does the center of the cookware need to be magnetic?

The aluminum pan in question performs very well on my cheaper induction burner. The aluminum pan does have a small indent where it's recessed but is flat. There is some engraved lettering but nothing where it would significantly reduce the contact area.

Max Charge Voltage Nosfet Aero

Wanted to max out my Aero for a longer ride and balance the cells but noticed it wouldn’t hit 126V anymore. Started rapidly cutting on and off at 125.6V, discharged to 124.5V, then back to 125.6V again. Did this one more time and I decided to let it ride and went to sleep. After I woke up it stayed green and held voltage at 125.7V.

Max voltage charge setting is 126.0V, charger is also outputting 126V, checked by multimeter. 600 miles less than a year old

Is this normal? About 20 cycles on the battery if that. I ride pretty slow most of the time and mildly. Does the same thing with Roger Charger set to 126V. Sherman L does not do this at all to 151.2V, 1500 miles, seemed odd.
