Ghorman culture details from The Art of Andor

In the Palmo town hall meeting that Syril attends, there are supposed to be twelve banners of the cities of Ghorman in the back that unfortunately we can't see (per Barry Gingell on Twitter).

>“I don’t know if it comes through clearly in the script anymore, but Palmo was one of seven cities, because we were always like, ‘Why is there only ever one city on these planets?’ Palmo is supposed to be maybe the most central one or something, and that hall wasn’t necessarily supposed to be somewhere super city center. Maybe there’s a few of these council halls across Ghorman.” — Luke Hull

Also along the walls of Ghorman, there are small shrines almost like Ferrix memorial bricks:

>“The concept of incorporating small shrines into the walls of Ghorman was something we proposed to Luke early on, before the walls were even built. We designed charming tile murals, all hand-drawn, featuring little poems, messages, and symbols like spiders and the fruits of Ghorman. Across Italy and other countries, you can find small votive shrines embedded in walls—often a mystery to tourists, but something deeply familiar and meaningful to locals. We wanted to bring that same essence to Ghorman, imagining these shrines placed at street corners or tucked in alleys. We carefully studied references from shrines around the world, spanning different time periods and cultures, to create a set of shrines that felt distinctively Ghorman. We hand-drew decorative motifs and symbols with intricate borders, and, like much of the work from the graphics team, these details may go unnoticed by some, blending into the background as subtle textures. But for us, it was about adding richness and depth to the streetscape. The set design team further enhanced the shrines with plants, trinkets, and candles to give them an authentic, lived-in shrine feel. This was my favorite graphic that we made.” — Elle McKee

More detail on the Aldhani AK from The Art of Star Wars: Andor

>The director of that block [Susanna White] had an image of a female freedom fighter, an Afghani woman who was holding an AK-47. She was obsessed with the silhouette of an AK-47. Unfortunately, it was never really featured to its full potential, which was this folded-up, compact thing. When you take it all the way down, it looks like a Star Wars blaster. And it’s not until it starts moving and opening up that it takes on that AK-47 look.”
