Hello everyone, I recently started working in sandblasting so forgive me for my ignorance in this field.

I use an air supplied sandblasting hood however it isn’t air-tight and air has gotten into the helmet from beneath. I’m concerned about breathing in outside air particularly since the media we use contains silica.

I’m thinking of buying a half-mask respirator to wear under the helmet (it’s a bigass helmet so it should fit), what kind of respirator/filters would be recommended for protection? Thanks
