SGU Grenada Terms 3+4 stress
Hi guys, currently a student at SGU - 4yr MD track. I just finished up term 2 and am currently on break before starting term 3 this summer. I've heard a lot about how the second year of medschool at SGU is super difficult, specifically term 4. I could use some advice on how I should proceed on managing school and also prepping to pass CBSE, first try hopefully.
Current routine/study habits:
- Reading and note taking lecture slides 2-3 times
- Anki for modules like NB (to be fair i've only used premade decks like Mikey and rands for like 3 modules so far during the entirety of M1)
- Practice questions every weekend, reviewing missed questions then moving on
All in all, I start my day at 5 am, study from 6am-7:30am. 8-10am lecture, 11-2 pm: study sesh 1. 4-7 pm study sesh 2. Closer to the exam, the hours ramp up but id say outside of classes a good 5-6 hours of studying is done in a day.
I'll be honest, whats worrying me is that my gpa is like a 77%. I haven't really been gunning for top grades in any module and I feel like at some point me taking a more relaxed approach is gonna catch up to me.
Also, I really don't use any 3rd party resources, like first aid, U world, Anking, etc.
TLDR: I want to average mid 80s during terms 3 and 4 and pass CBSE first try, advice?
