Where do exoskeletons go?

I have a nepenthes Rebecca Soper and it caught two bugs, a fruit fly and an ant. I googled and it said somewhere they take a long time to or straight up don’t digest exoskeletons. I’m assuming when my pitcher dies, they will end up on my desk. But do they do anything to get rid of the exoskeleton when the pitcher dies other than just dropping it on my desk?

Round two of thrips?

Found these random white spots on my leaves, what are these? I’m pretty sure most of them are dust, but there are some spots that looked similar to the white spots of doom I got with thrips.

Is it normal that my pitchers haven’t opened yet?

I’ve had this nep for a few months now and it just finished (ips) the pitcher swelling process. It’s been like this for a week now and it hasn’t opened. Is this normal? I know the second one looks open, trust me, it’s not.
