Crunch Fitness converting to Stir Fit Lab
Other than speaking to the front desk person, I received absolutely no notice that this was happening. No email from Crunch or Stir Fit Lab. And the front desk person told me that all crunch members of this club are automatically converting Stir Fir Lab members. So I’m suddenly signed up for a gym I don’t want to be part of?
I think this is kind of crazy. Stir Fit is honoring the crunch membership price until the end of the year and then we’ll be charged the regular amount. Again, this info has only been verbally confirmed by the desk person.
I’m being asked to create a Stir Fit Lab account and I don’t want to because I’m not planning on staying after the year is over.
I’ve had so many issues with crunch raising my membership price over the years without any email notice. I had the manager grandfather me in for a few months at my original low rate only for it to go back to the current rate and when I called, the new manager told me that the old manager who did this for me shouldn’t have done that and that he’s no longer here. Again, no notice whatsoever.
I don’t trust these companies. Is everyone okay with this? I just know trying to candle my membership at the end of the year is going to be a huge hassle.
