Why does vonnegut handle rape so loosely???
It's just so jarring to read, his books are satire, but when he handles rape it doesn't really feel like satire and it's extremely blunt too, he doesn't handle the subject with delicacy and caution at all.

And I just want to say, I love his work. I 'm not trying to say anything about him im a huge Vonnegut fan, but I think the excuse "it was just the time he was born in" is kinda crazy, we can acknowledge and like an author while knowing some of his problematic traits.
I'm shocked considering how much of a humanist he was

Specifically comedies this has been going around for a while now but does anyone ever really realize this? I've never really noticed it before but when I was scrolling on hulu, i noticed a common theme, a common look on these posters. I've just been seeing more and more movie posters like this. Idk tho what are y'all thoughts on this?
