Art Pen 2: First Impressions
Just recieved my Art Pen 2. I've only had a few minutes with it, but I'd like to share my initial thoughts.
I'm using it with my MoveInk 14, which came with the Pro Pen 3. And frankly, they got the names mixed up. Because the Art Pen *feels* much more pro than the Pro Pen. It's heavier, sturdier feeling. I love having the fatty-pen size back. The buttons are strong, and clicky. Not wobbly or mushy like the Pro. There is also a slight texter on the whole pen that makes it ever slightly more "grippy" in your hand. But the big immediate thing I noticed (and LOVE) is that the cap for the nibs that comprises the back half of the unit now screws tightly closed (I think it has a proper gasket now). So no more having to constantly re-screw the back half of the pen coming loose! I'd gotten used to the Pro Pen 3's idiosyncrasies, but now that I have a solid alternative, it's probaly going in a drawer somewhere.
I'll update as I have more time to try out the tablet response to the pen. But the little I've done so far was spot on, with no lag, right out of the box.
