I did it!

I'm actually like 2ish weeks post op now (got it done on the 28th of April) but I wanted to share my experience on here yippee

Personally, this procedure was easy peasy! I was a bit nervous as this was my very ever surgery, but it went very well! I got a total laparoscopic hysterectomy, bilateral salpingoophorectomy, cystoscopy, and hymenal repair. Had barely any pain, and my scars are healing wonderfully. I was only a little sore for a couple days after and I didn't even need any pain meds :D

I got my surgery done in Canada and I'm very lucky to have gotten it this early (I'm 18 years old). And I only had to wait 3 months to get an appointment after my initial referral! I've been planning this since I was like, 10, (I transitioned quite young) and I'm so happy to have finally gotten it done and to now be able to move on to the next steps of my medical transition.

Also, surprisingly they didn't even shave me which was awesome cus I'm very attached to my body hair lol (sucked to take the tape off though lol but worth it)

Recovery has been very quick and easy for me, and I couldn't be happier!!!
