I have this old hondo les paul style guitar that was handed down to me. I love it to death, the pickups are so bright and it adds a pretty unique sound. But I very often find myself feeling like the pickups are wayyy too bright. I've been seeing a lot of people play with P90s lately and I've been really falling in love with the sound of them. There's this certain buttery and almost nostalgic tone that they have that I really can't get enough of and would work perfectly for my current project I'm writing for. What would you recommend for P90s to replace my current pickups with? What would be the easiest install?
